The photo here is of the Chicago Theater (which you have no doubt figured out from the page title! ). This is a fantastic old building with a rich history. It opened in 1921 and was the first lavish movie theater in the country. Today, entertainers from rock bands to comedians perform there. (I'll be detailing its history on a companion page.) If you visit Chicago and if you like architecture, you should consider taking a tour of this magnificent structure. It's quite a treat!
