Lessons Learned from my Grandmother

I created this layout in April 2013 for the May edition of Artisan Notebook Essential magazine, one month before my grandmother's 100th birthday. This edition of the magazine was focusing on women who have influenced our lives and I much though I love and admire my mother, I wanted to pay tribute to my grandmother while I still could. And I'm so glad I did, as she died, peacefully, 4 days after her 100th birthday in May.

Love that you had a chance to make this page while your GM was alive; so many wonderful memories. I've been thinking of making a page like this, tfs - it's wonderful and artistic, love the brushwork!

Enjoyed reading your journalling. Brought back memories of my own grandmother. A beautiful tribute page.

So touching is everything about your page, thanks for all the feelings you brought to me!! Your work is amazing and elegant and GSO is so deserved!
