Flights of Fancy
I took this photo* in my backyard during a summer storm.
Using aA elements and PSE tools I tried to create a more painterly feel.

I made this page before AP Skys The Limit was released.
Hoping to do a Flights of Fancy series with the new AP.

Seagulls from Free Stock Exchange

Process:
Place bg paper. Duplicate and set to 100% multiply.
Place photo. Duplicate and blur with GaussianBlur. Set to 100% Pin Light.
(carefully erase areas of each photo layer to reveal portions of background paper beneath.
Using a blue brush from PS/PSE (I used NaturalBrushes2 #60)
and set to color mode, paint over dark area at bottom of photo).
Copy portions of palm fronds and add to bottom of photo on darken mode.
Add branch and twig brushes in orange and white from AP BarrenSunrise to left side of page
(screen and luminosity modes).
Add birds or image of your choice (seagulls are from FreeStock Exchange (set to pin light).
Add FotoGlows to desired areas experimenting with blending and opacities.
Add brushes for detail.
Add Title and Journaling:
