Guess what? This is not an old filling station. It's a delightful faade of a restaurant in Carmel Valley, CA, called The Baja Cantina. Decorated with elements from many old filling stations, it's a photo op just waiting to happen. I can only imagine how many snap shots have been taken of loved ones standing by those antique pumps. We didn't eat there, but I'm told the food is delicious, and the inside is just as cool as the outside. This is just one of the shots I'm scrapping of the eye candy of Monterey and Carmel, on and off the beaten path.
