This was inspired by the newsletter Anna sent out this morning
Journaling: You waved when you saw me at the door of the classroom at Fontenelle Nature Center. I thought I was going to bring you home from your field trip since youd been so sick. But you wanted to walk the trails. On our way down to the river, our guide pointed out the nettles and poison ivy we should avoid. We saw trees cut by beavers, insect galleries decorating decaying tree trunks, a turtle sunning himself on a log and the berm dam that keeps the Missouri River from flooding the forest. You were thirsty after climbing back up the trail, but this grandma was tired.
