As long as I can remember I've had a
difficult relationship with my father.
I've never had the feeling he was
there for me, was even interested
in my or what was happening in my
life. When I got a bit older I tried
my best to change that. At one point
we had therapy for our whole family
and when I had to tell what I would
have liked to see from my father, what
I missed in our relationship, instead
of listening he told me right in my
face that I could better search for
a different father in that case. After
that I had to choose for myself and
let him go, even though it did really
hurt, but he could not be the dad that I
needed and I not the daughter he needed.
