Last week, I got to ride in the coach's launch and take photos of my son's boat during practice. It was such fun to be able to take closer shots than I can get from the shore. This one was taken as we just came around the stern of the boat. I liked that the only person in focus was the first guy and it made me think about how they really do strive to row as one unit. It is "rowing life's" little challenge - and was inspired by Anna's title (Life's Little) as well as the current Anna Challenge.

Process
I made the photo black & white and added some contrast and brightness to blow it out a bit and clipped it to the FotoInspired Mask. I added APP Life's Little transfer 4 and clipped it to the photo with blending mode Overlay. I really liked the blue wavy painted line in APP Life's Little transfers 5 as it reminded me of waves and water. I decided to create a diagonal line across the photo and layout to show movement. I extracted the part of the image I needed and repeated it over the area. I always placed two copies of it with blending modes Vivid Light or Color Burn over Normal. Transfer 11 also has that same element as part of it's image. I carried the blue wavy line through to the background on the left by placing that transfer under the photo (two copies - blending mode Multiply over Normal). I duplicated those two layers, enlarged them, and placed them to the right under the photo to show a continuation of the three skinny lines on the left. Added a few glows, text (and text shadow) to finish the layout.
Thanks so much for looking!
