My dd and I raised and showed Guinea Pigs (Cavies) for a number of years. The piggies that we raised were called teddies, and had a very kinky wirery fur. These piggies are from a number of different litters, and they were our last, as we stopped showing soon after. We raised and showed a number of Grand Champions, at one time winning the Best in Show for the State of California. We miss them every now and then, as they were cute little critters.

The Process: I blended 2 papers, and used a dot overlay to create the background paper. I masked the photo, and then made a duplicate of the photo, and used a blend mode of Hard Light to the lower one. The top photo had no blend mode, but the opacity of reduced. In addition, I blended portions of the top photo to best hightlight certain piggies. I placed the warped frames on top, but masked out the portion on top of the piggies. I added the ArtsyPaint under the photo, and on top of the photo I added the ScriptTease word art, using the overlay blend mode, and masking out any text on top of the piggies. I added the loopdaloop, placing a date label under the pearl element. The heart and key was masked so that it looked like it was looped around the frame. I stretched the title text to fit the whole width of the frames, and then started adding edge overlays. I have used three, changing their colors and blend modes until I got the effect I wanted.
