"We saw this young girl on a donkey, her father beaming in approval. We asked permission to take
their picture, promising to return with a copy. A little girl in the house stuck her head out the doorway
the very second the camera clicked.

We returned six months later but could not find the house. The only thing to do was to knock on
every door until someone could give us directions. The tall blonde man with a red beard and the tall
black female "mora" who spoke spanish knew a fellow villager. That became the most exciting thing to
happen in town for years. A crowd escorted us to our family's house and cheered loudly as we delivered the photo. "
