Process

I love the pop of teal in my husband's shirt with the colors in this latest AP (Savor). After adding the scriptease overlay (with an overlay bledning mode applied to it) and the word art (using soft light) I felt like any jounaling might get lost, so I let the photo and the sentiments from the word art speak for themselves.

I used the stained glows to repeat the look of my sun faded photo (treated in Rad Lab) in my background. And I really loved the way the glows brought out the details in the overlays/wordart even more.

To finish things off I added a few dimensional elements (felt heart, leaves) and stitched border that I placed so that it was just barely peeking out from under the inner mat, I thought this was a nice subtle finishing detail.
