Process
For this page I created this inky pastel background using one of my favorite techniques. I thought this effect complimented this fun photo I took of my sons Easter Basket a couple years back. and I especially love the look of this technique with heavily textured backgrounds like this lace background from the Blossom AP.
To get this look I've arranged several of the Flower Foto Glows diagonally across the page so that they slightly overlap one another. Then I've filled them each with a different pastel and applied the linear blending mode to them. Then I've backed off the opacity on each layer to 70%.
This creates a fun series of splotches that bleed into the background and into one another to create a bit of a rainbow gradient-like effect.
