I do wish I had photos from all our tea parties! I'm on the right
Journaling: We have celebrated our birthday for seventeen years with tea at the Rose Garden Tea Room at the Huntington Library. When we first began this tradition, I lived in the area. Now, I fly out each February for our tea party and walk in the garden. I dont think we could share a closer bond as sisters, especially being twins. Over the years we have rejoiced with one another, cried together, laughed together, encouraged one another, played together, and prayed for each other. We dont need to pretend everything is okay. I wish now that Id thought to take a camera the first time we went for tea; we were celebrating our 50th birthday, that Id been more deliberate about getting the photos of the two of us together. I have only a few. But I have a multitude of memories together with my sister.
