Journaling reads: Rachel and I had never played BINGO before, but while visiting my parents, they had Rachel and I go and play with the senior ladies, bussed in from the retirement home. It was so sweet, as they ranged from age 78 to 96 years of age. Bert was the only man, so they fussed over him. The prizes were things like paper towels, hand soap, or laundry detergent, and they played all sorts of fun variations. I had to take some photos with my iPhone of Bert calling out the numbers and letters, but when he noticed what I was doing, he placed his coat over his head to hide himself. He was a good sport all in all with the photos and loved the seniors fussing over him.
The process: Annas templates are so easy to work with to create those multi-photo pages. I mainly used the kit ArtPlay Palette Traveler, as I loved the neutral colors. I attached the pattern paper to one of the paint layers, and changed many of the other paint layers to colors. I have to admit, that I loved Annas design sense in the template, but took her idea to make the page title. I added transfers and other elements to the page from the same ArtPlay, and then added a distressed page overlay and some hipster plume kornersNEdges. I created a few Bingo phrase word strips, adding to the Observe strip from the kit, and added some Urban Stitchez to the edge of the photo strips. I then added a photo of the bingo cards and brought down its opacity. I love Annas template!!!
