Process

Starting with APP Sweet Baby, I used one of the papers as a base and then placed 3 of the transfers to form a backdrop for the focal image - these were set to blending modes of Color Dodge (transfer5), Saturation (transfer1B_) and Overlay (transfer2). I created the focal image with the paper boat and used the flower to mimic a sail. The flower stem was a bit too long, so I used the eraser tool to remove the unwanted part. I also duplicated the boat which gave a more dramatic shadow. I them placed the Sweet Baby LoopDaLoop so that it circled the focal image and duplicated it to make it a bit heavier. I then placed 3 of the pearl buttons on the layout. Next, I added the stitching only from Anna's Stitched by Anna Frames to highlight the focal image again. Lastly, I added some texture and shading: 1) Gold Paint Overlay (blending mode Multiply) was placed under the focal image running entirely across the paper, 2) White Paint No. 1 #8 was added to left side (blending mode Multiply), 3) White Paint No. 1 #6 was added twice to the right side of stitched frame (blending modes Luminosity and Linear Burn) and 3) Love Glows No. 1 #1 was added to the right side with blending mode of Saturation to add a soft yellow glow.
