My boy of five with much to grow
Has taught me much of what I know
Like what it really means to live
Forget to take, but always give
To be fulfilled with simple things
The day-to-day and what it brings
To see things from his point of view
And understand, he's watching, too
To see a dragon in a cloud
To tolerate when things get loud
Oh how I love to be alive
And learn things from a boy of five.
