Photo Technique:
To compliment the contemporary feel of this page, I wanted to try out a pop-art style for my photo. I achieved this look by choosing this fun mask from the ArtPalette Hearts brush set and applying the darken blending mode to it before clipping my photo to it--which I converted to black and white. The end result was one where the darker values in the photo shine through but the lighter values blend with the background paper--which echos the same look made famous by andy warhol and other pop art artists.
