I have seen a lot of changes in you this year. You are slipping from me more and more, lost in a world that is harder and harder to bring you back from. Sometimes I wish I could go there with you, to that place where you find such comfort and familiarity. I find you asleep in your chair more often now, too tired to make it all the way back to your room. My heart aches when this happens. You are becoming increasingly forgetful, forgetting that you wear glasses or hearing aids if they arent right in front of you to put on everyday. You have misplaced your watch, your books and more often than not, you forget to change your clothes from day to day. How long until you forget who I am? I love you , Mom.
