This year I decided not to have the traditional live cut Christmas tree. For several reasons, not least of which is I could not transport a tree in my convertible! After I made sure Catie and Carly wouldn't be upset about the absence of a tree (they weren't), I took out Nana's little pink tree which already had some vintage angels and elves on it and added some of Theresa's tiny origami creations. Now, whenever I look at Nana's tree this Christmas season, I will remember her generous heart, her unselfish devotion to her family, and her boundless love. 2012
