Journaling:
My daughter has the sweetest heart! While were at the store she spied a rack of stuffed toys. She came over and showed me a couple of them and was quite taken with a bear holding flowers (of course). We finished picking up the things we needed and Rob said she could get the bear. She smiled, but something in her expression wasnt quite right. I shrugged it off and we went home. A little while later at bedtime (of course) we learned the reason for her concern. She asked her Daddy Tomorrow can we go back to the store and take a picture of the other two bears there that look like this bear? They are her family and if she has a picture of them she will be less sad
OMG! My sweet child. She didnt whine or ask for more toys, she accepted that she should be happy to be able to buy one toy, but the sadness at the thought of this little family being separated was too much. Of course the next day we promptly went and bought the other two bears and reunited the little family. I told her that next time she should tell us her concerns and that we would always listen to her heart.
