Journaling reads: Cricket loves her toys - she especially loves stuffed animals. If they make noise, all the better. She loves us to chase her around the coffee table. If we get going really fast, she jumps up on the couch to tell us she needs to rest for a bit. When she is ready to run again, she will come find us, and drop her toy at our feet to temp us to grab it. She, of course is ready to snatch it before we can, and we run around the coffee table again.
The time that she is most frisky and animated is when she comes in for the night. She grabs her toy and whips around that table - we hear her little nails gripping the carpet as she makes the turns, barely able to stay upright. If she goes too fast, she will make the turn and swing up on the couch to make a wider circle. Of course, part of the fun is for us to change directions and see if she can stop in time and not be caught. If we do catch her, It is usually because she want to stop - she falls to the ground and we rub her all over while she grunts and kicks out with her feet. She then goes off to sit on the couch with her toy and have a bit of a Play Break.
