When I was a student I used to sign on with an agency to do temp office work in the summer holidays to earn some money. I was sent out to various offices for short term contracts - feel sorry for the poor businesses as my typing wasn't exactly lightening fast! Anyway, one of my first postings was to a firm of structural engineers in Edinburgh and I remember one of the bosses was called Mr Knight. The woman who ran the office had a small Knight ornament on her desk with the inscription "Once a King always a King but once a Knight is enough". I had no idea what it was all about at the time, and Mr Knight seemed delighted with the ornament so I thought it must be about chivalry or something... Duh!!!! Now I know...
