Journaling: This sweet little guy came into our home as a shower gift when I was expecting our first son, Alex. Eeyore kept faithful watch over my little boy-perched in the corner of the crib. When I had my
second child, Anthony, Alex decided that Eeyore needed to watch over Anthony and so Eeyore once again kept careful watch over a baby boy in a crib. And then, our last little boy, Austin was born. Anthony had grown to love Eeyore deeply and he just couldnt bear giving him up. But he was willing to share and so Anthony would climb in the crib with Eeyore in hand and the two of them would snuggle up
in the corner and keep watch over our baby boy
in the crib. These days little Eeyore is tucked on a shelf-waiting for the day when-perhaps-a grandbaby
will come to visit and he can once again watch over
a sleeping baby in a crib.
