My youngest son was a freshman in high school on 9-11. Our town lost 6 that day. My sons went to school with the daughters of one of the victims. You could see the smoke from our town. These are photos from 9-11-2012. It was the first time my youngest has seen the Tribute of Lights and he did not have words. This is also the first year of the NJ Memorial Empty Sky (two walls with the names of all 746 NewJerseans who lost their lives - the walls face directly to where the World Trade towers stood and now where the Freedom Tower Rises).
