Poem written by Marine during the previous schoolyear

The ruler and the pencil got on so well:
They drew lines, they underlined words, they measured lengths, they drew forms...

But the ruler learnt one day that the pencil had betrayed her for her worst enemy:
The compass!

So, she left the pencil for his worst enemy:
The pen!
