Journaling
One of the best things about our cottage in Tofino is that it is tucked back into the woods away from any bright lights, which means that after the sun goes down, the sky comes alive with billions of stars. It really is an incredible sight to see and it isnt unusual to see more than one falling start each night, or track satellites or clearly see the constellations . Chloe is usually long asleep by this time, but this year I decided to wake her up to share this incredible sight with her. We wrapped up our sleepy head in a blanket and Myles carried her outside, where we all stood and gazed at the sky in amazement. She wondered how many stars were up there and loved how bright the moon glowed, too. This was a really cool moment.
