Journaling reads: Recently you told me you saw number and letters in colors. You said words have colors as well, and it is often based on the first letter of the word. You said each number and letter had its own color. You told me you found this was called Synesthesia.
In your case, colors to numbers and letters is called Grapheme Synesthesia.
I asked you the colors of our names and our pets names. They are Rachel & Ron (both the same because they start with the same letter. My name Joan is purple and our dog Cricket orange, and the horses are Dusty & Duster (same 1st letter, but different hues of blue. I also though it was interesting that zero & the letter O has 3 possible colors Yellow, Light Blue or Black.
How Wonderfully Colorful!!!
(just a note about synesthesia - some people see music in colors, which I think is quite interesting as well. Growing up Rachel thought everyone saw what she saw, but when she found out that was not the case, she thought something was wrong with her, until she found out there were other people that had it.)
