Here is my page for the most recent AnnaLift.
DH and I got back a week ago from a vacation to Chicago. I have eleventymillion photos from our seven days there, and no idea how I'm going to scrap them all. I suppose I'll eventually have to sit down and come up with a plan, like pick a set of templates or something, but for right now I'm having fun just choosing one or two pics from the pile and playing. That's my dh in the foreground, with a cute little cafe we stumbled upon in the background. We'd been out walking around the south Michigan Ave. area when we found this place and decided it would make a great pit stop. As we sat on its charming patio eating ice creams the cafe owner must have marked us as tourists (um, two cameras, a Lonely Planet guidebook and a city street map all on the table in front of us; I'd say we were hard not to miss!
) and he came over and introduced himself and delighted us with tales of the neighborhood. (Note to self: devote whole pages to the stories...this guy was wonderful...) The photo itself is not great quality; this is what happens when I try to be all sly and secretive and try to catch photo subjects in a natural pose. It turned out to be a great photo for playing with filters and blending modes, though, so with inspiration from the latest AnnaLift, that's what I did.
Okay, one down, eleventyninehundredninetyninethousadninehundredninteynine to go!
