After I finished the page, I realized I must have been influenced by Chris' Macaw page.

I received Chris page in the form of a note card in the mail the other day. Not from Chris, but from my Mom. Chris was kind enough to share that page with me a few weeks back and let me print it out as a note card set to give to my mom and I'm planning to do the same with this page for her. (My mom, who had lived with us for several years, recently relocated back up north to an assisted living facility and now we chat by phone and by letter so I love that our note cards have a very personal touch to them..............in more ways than one.)

FYI-Since I usually decide to make note cards after I've created a 12 x 12 page, I just resize the page to 5 x5 and then print out the smaller version of my page and purchase cards and envelopes to fit at local craft store. I simply adhere the 'mini page' version to the front of the card and I have a set of Note Cards. GORGEOUS, Donna! LOVE the stacked frames and the dimensional effect they give! The painted effect on the hummingbird is magnificent! What a thoughtful idea about the card exchange! Beautifully done!

WOW - love the way you framed the hummingbird and then the blending and of course that red flower! such a gorgeous page and I am sure your created cards make your mom days so bright and cheerful! adding to my favs
