My version of a back to school page. I think I'm feeling my son's sadness as he gets ready and prepares to end the summer and head back for his senior year in college. I miss all the 'back to school' moments when my kids were younger, and like him, I hate to say good-bye summer.
Note the final touch to the page, and totally school related, the red bit of wordart at the bottom to convey the teachers red correction pen.do over. As summer comes to an end..wed all like a do over.

...and yes. So sad. I do NOT GET the trend to have year-round school...or ending school the 3rd week of June, or starting in the middle of August. The happiest part of my childhood (except for summer trips to Montana) was THREE MONTHS of glorious summer. And it wasn't that I hated school (I was an honor student)...it's just that summer was....SUMMER! This page almost makes me cry.
Even sadder when you've missed summer totally like in the UK - Ah well, there's always summer 2013 to look forward to...! Fantastic shot beautifully scrapped Donna - LOVE!
