Letting Go

Letting Go

Journaling Reads: It has been almost a year since we seperated. It has been a terribly difficult year to get through. I'm tempted to say the most difficult year of my life. One of the most difficult things I have ever experienced. For awhile I was sure that we would reconcile and at first it seemed like that would happen. However time and a few other things happened and it became clear that our marriage was over. I have mourned and grieved the loss and now it is time to let go. The hardest part of letting go, sadly wasn't saying goodbye to you, but letting go of the marriage in general. I was so proud of being married. It gave me such a sense of pride and accomplishment, as a statement to the world that I was loved and wanted. The hardest lesson I have learned over the past year is that a marriage doesn't give you those things. I'm still not done learning from this experience, maybe I never will be. I am thankful to finally be able to let this pain go and move on with my life. I know I have happier times ahead of me.

goodness, what a thought provoking journal entry! Thinking about it, I consider my marriage more or less the same as you thought of your own. I am so sorry for your breakup and wish you every bit of love and best wishes to find your peace and happiness.

Beautifully scrapped layout nonetheless (((hugs))) to you

I feel your pain, but I must tell you, you will rebound for the better and find a great person to fall in love with and that person is you!!!
There is life after divorce and better in most cases than before I'm, living proof of it.

Awww, huge HUGS! I'm sorry you've had a rough year, and hopfully this LO has been uplifting for you towards letting go of the past and moving headfirst into a bright future! Remember you have friends who love and want you! Marriage does not define being loved or wanted 100% Always leave room in your heart for friends!

All that aside, this is one gorgeous LO! I love all the layering to it, and especially those brad things with the string around them anchoring it all down! Just wonderful work!

Wow. This is so intense so heartfelt. Isn't it amazing how cathartic this can be. It's a beautiful layout, so well done, so meaningful and the journaling is profound.
