Journaling reads: My vacations after high school seemed to either have to do with the beach or biking or both. On this particular trip it was my best friend Betsey and our bikes. We parked our car in Hyannis Port, and set off to the tip of Cape Cod not at all knowing what to expect. We found ourselves biking on a high speed main drag with cars and trucks whizzing past at over 60mph and head-winds that slowed us to a crawl. We kept our eye on the road and slowly made our way. Some nights we camped out while others we had lodging in quaint little houses right on the beach. It is something that was important for us as it was just Betsey and her Schwinn and me and my Motobecane deciding where to ride and what to do each day.
