I have wanted to go to the 9/11 Memorial for along time. My town lost 6 when the towers came down. I knew there would be rebuilding. While my sister and niece were in town we went in to NYC to the Memorial. It was a hot day but once inside the Memorial all the water from the two pools and the shade from the many trees keep the site cool and refreshing - I cannot do justice to site but I do know that it is so worth seeing.

Nancy, thanks for sharing this experience and these images with us! Love all the soft shades of blue and green! Wonderful 'memorial' page of the 9/11 Memorial! Hope I get to see it someday.
