The La Jolla Cover
Journaling reads: As you walk along a path in La Jolla, beside the ocean, there is a lone structure which I have always called The La Jolla Lookout. Step inside and there is a fabulous view of the cliffs below, and the ocean for as far as you can see. The La Jolla Cove area is such a wonderful place. It has shops nearby, hotels, art galleries and restaurants. Much of the area is cliffs, however, there are also areas where steps have been built to allow beach goers to get down to the water, and explore the rocks. You are almost sure to come across seagulls, and pelicans, as well as harbor seals. I feel so fortunate that I live in an area that people come to vacation. I have to remind myself sometimes that I should stop long enough to enjoy the beauty in my own home town.
