I sit down in my chair and you climb up on my lap. Are you comfortable yet? I ask. Yes, you respond, settling yourself one more time. Then I begin to read. Once upon a time, there were three Billy Goats...But on the way, there was a bridge over a rushing river. And under the bridge lived a Troll who was as mean as he was ugly.
I love reading to my grandson! We found this little bridge last month on one of our walks and my grandson immediately thought of the troll. I blended two photos together (one taken today and one in May) so that I could have the entire bridge and extracted the rails. The question is a brush I created from my writing.
