The dress is by Christian Dior. It is from the fall/winter 1954-1955 collection.
Journaling: I never could picture myself in a wedding gown and I never dreamed of a big wedding. When I did get married, it was in an old T-Bird with my dog, Annabelle, acting as witness. I wore a white t-shirt and jeans. Seriously. I know it was legal. Joan Collins got married at the same place, at least twice, I think. Now, Ive been married so long, it seems silly to want to wear a wedding dress but, the other day, i saw THIS dress. If I were doing it all over again, I might just have to have a different kind of wedding so that I could wear this dress ... a girl can dream, cant she?
