In Southern California we have what is called May Gray and June Gloom. During those months, the Marine Layer tends to keep the coastline often times in a Marine Haze for some days most of the day. This layer burns off quicker or is non-existent inland, so Poway and Ramona usually do not suffer the Haze. For this reason my title for this page is No May Gray in Ramona.

Journaling reads: All of Pattis gardens are beautiful, but her Rose Garden is in full bloom, right now in early May. They run the length of her driveway, and around to the stable gate and they include all different varieties and colors. I especially love the scent of the tea roses - always my favorite.
