A Tug of My Heart

I gotta plug Annas ArtsyKardz , and Chris and Ambers tutorial (see Annas blog). Until I read the fine print I didnt realize that Anna made them as both jpg and psd files, you can work with the individual layers to manipulate the way you want on the psd, or just simply use the jpg to it as a card. SOOOO COOL!!! and so versatile

Journaling reads: I am guessing these photos were taken in the late 30s. Cristina and Nicholas shown here with son Anthony, and Cristinas sisters Meg and Annie, brother Chip, and brother-in-law James.

Photographs of my father and his family. I have been looking through all the photos I have, and trying to identify each face. Although I fear I might be wrong in some cases, I have come to realize that it doesnt matter if I am wrong in who is who, because I would love these people just as much. What I came to realize is that in just knowing they are family, there is a definite tug of my heart something that says I came from these people, and makes me proud to gaze at their photos. Family is so wonderful - giving me a feeling of belonging.

Cristina was first born, and Meg was her youngest sister, 22 years younger, so her siblings were close in age to her own children.

As one who has started scrapping the old family photos I understand where you're coming from and love this.

Great that you've named the family members and journalled about them. Makes it more personal.

I'll probably have a go at lifting this - with full credit to you of course. Love it! And love those ArtsyKardz too!

wow. what a inspiring page. love the group shots supported by the individual close ups. and i always enjoy reading your journaling.

This is such a blow-me-away page. I wish I had photos that went that far back. Look at their clothes and hairstyles! And you got so many on one page, and it doesn't feel crowded at all. They all look so friendly.
