little lost parakeet perched on our roof searching for the way home,

are you curious about the world beyond your safe cage?
you find other little birds on the roof and join them in a game
of hide and seek among the roof tiles.
i watch you play and know that at least for now you are safe,
but soon will need to find your way home,
back to your cozy cage and the family that misses you.
