JOURNALING READS:

Don't know

much about

history...

this is what I'm

trying to keep my

kids from singing!

So last summer

we did it....we went

to a CIVIL WAR

re-enactment up

in Wa state. It

was fantastic. There

was sooo much to

learn,! And to be honest...

I probably learned more than my kids, but that only gave

me more fodder to teach them. It is sooo rewarding to be

ablt to say, Remember that medical tent at the civil war

reenactment and all those *ahem* tools? Then they come

back with some answer that shows me that all that money,

time and investment was worth it!!! I love the ability to

seek our learning through life experiences like this one.

This trip was more than a memory...it was a life happening

that I will never forget...neither will I forget the Civil

War in our country and what the soldiers went through

almost 150 years ago. WOW!

Sally, this is awesome!! Love that pic and the alpha, and the touches of color from the flowers and the paper strip, fantastic job!!

This is fabulous! I love your journaling here. I have always wanted to go to a re-enactment. Maybe it's because my father was a US History professor, I don't know LOL but I have always been interested in the Civil War. It's so cool that you went! Love this LO!
