I am not good at challenges, but I set a goal to complete this months Oscraps challenges, and I have 5 of 6 done with the completion of this page.
This is a lift of Helenh's page elegant https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=249698&title=elegant&cat=all . I knew immediately which photo I was going to use. Thank you Helenh for the inspiration.
This is another page in my recent "Jeanne" pages taken of her while visiting China.
Journaling reads: As soon as I came across this photograph of Jeanne traveling abroad, I couldnt help but think of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The epitome of fashion, I saw the scarf perfectly wrapped around Jeannes head, and draped around her neck and I thought about how fabulous a fashion statement it was. In addition, the tailored suit and dark sunglasses all were reminiscent of Jackie. It got me wondering just how many women of the 1960s tried to emulate Jackies fashion. I recall that so many articles were written about Jackie from the time she was First Lady, on. I think back about what I remember about how people dressed in the 60s. It was so different a time in history. Much emphasis was put on being dressed just so, as compared to your basic jeans of today. A big part of me yearns for that special dress and style, where women put a great deal of effort in how they looked and dressed. Oh how I miss that.
