I enjoyed taking part in the new Anna Page Makeover https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22496 and have had great fun working with Joanie's beautiful vintage photograph, her journalling and her scan of a precious lace handkerchief.

I loved the journalling about 16 year old Christina and her husband Nichlos. Christina was to marry another man in an arranged marriage but she loved Nichlos from afar even although they had never met. Happily for her the original arrangement fell through - and who did her parents choose next - Nichlos - RESULT for Christina LOL!!!

They are a handsome couple so I decided concentrate on the bride and groom, especially given the story of Christina's love for the mysterious Nichols. I integrated the lace handkerchief into the bridal veil and included some heart shaped confetti, keeping a limited neutral colour palette throughout to allow the couple to become the focal point of the page
balanced by the small wedding group on the opposite page. The background paper from ArtPlay Palette Forget me Not was the perfect mix of soft colour I was looking for!
