When Dave and I were dating, and even when we were first married, we always included his two little sisters and my three little sisters in our activities. He taught them to ski. We went on bike rides around Seward Park. We took them clam digging at the ocean. He put together four or five Barbie doll houses, and I sewed scores of Barbie outfits for them. I could tell by the way Dave treated his and my sisters that he was going to be a wonderful father. I was right.
