This is my Great-Aunt Grace who was much older when I first remember her, so this photo always fascinated me. She was so young and pretty and I love this era.

Journaling reads:
I never knew this elegant side of Aunt Grace in beautiful lace and pearls, hair styled in the fashionable bob of the 1920s. My first memories of her where from the late 1950s. Her son was grown with a family of his own. I knew her as quiet and sweet, more often in housedress and apron than lace and pearls. My fondest memory is that she still bought her produce, dairy products and even ice from vendors making home deliveries in carts and trucks as if it were still the turn of the century. I wonder if she missed the days of elegant lace and pearls.
