Our annual visit to the circus. I've gone every year since I was 4. (I may have missed a couple of shows in my teen years). It's changed alot over the years, due mostly to the economy I think. During the 80's it was a true spectacle, Lasers, pyrotechnics, three acts going on at once etc... These days the circus has been scaled down alot. Only one act performs at a time. No explosions. In exchange for the glitz and glammer they've become more approachable and interactive. The one thing they do now that we really love is open an hour before the show and allow the public to meet and interact with the performers.
