Ramblings:Take great pleasure in small offerings. - Maya
Angelou
At my age, I have found that it is the little things that matter most. Like taking time to really see the beauty in things that surround us everyday. Life passes by so quickly. It really is important to take time and smell the roses.
The delicate blooms of the Lily of the Valley can not be appreciated from a distance. Yes,
the foliage is stunnning, but it is not until you get up close that you can admire the shape of
the tiny flowers and take in the intoxicating
scent. Nature has a wonderful way of reminding me to take things one day at a time and to live in the moment.

So very lovely! Growing up, Lily of the Valley would fill the spaces between our front bushes when Spring appeared--always a favorite--thanks for the beautiful reminder!
