Journaling reads: In 2011, I put emphasis on my scrapbooking. I pushed myself to learn more techniques, and to create better pages. I learned more about blend modes, creating custom shadows, creating text paths, and many other techniques with the hopes of creating a more striking page. I took a number of classes, in things like blending, page composition, creating custom shadows, among others. I joined Scott Kelby Training to better both my photography and photoshop skills, plus, I joined two Creative Teams, in hopes that they too would push my skills.
In addition to these classes and CT roles, the biggest changes occurred with my venturing out to investigate the many scrapping sites, and galleries. Trying to emulate what I see pushes me as well. I also began blogging about my journey. Now, as for 2012 more of the same, but with more emphasis on my photography skills, and creating pages that are even more outside of my comfort zone for as we all know, in digital, anything is possible, we just have to know how to create it. 2012 looks to be quite promising.
