We had some great recommendations from Tommy Os son who is a student at the College of Charleston. We headed to Hominy Grill first but with a 45min wait, we decided to try Poogins Porch. While it was closed/filled due to a wedding party, we asked about the tables outside. Too cool for locals, it was warm enough for us! Biscuits & honey butter! I had pulled pork Benedict with oh so nice cheesy grits; Dick had the pork chop breakfast. That was some breakfast! ok, even some brunch!
Finally a bit of a stroll around to get the digestion going, & a look at Charleston in the cooler weather. By late afternoon we were in Hilton Head. Hello Ocean!
