Here's my entry for the Nov 2011 CopyCat Challenge and let me just say that it's taken me 2 whole days to decide on the background - black or white - finally my DH made the decision for me! In that time I've managed to make so many snap judgements on many more important things in my life, but this LO has had me pondering repeatedly. The black looks fabulous Selena!! The colors just pop against it - This is GORGEOUS!!

Beautiful and full of the excitement of the fireworks. Just, WOW. I think I like black for the background.

I've got to say I think your DH got it spot on ... definitely the black background!!! I gives a real sense of how colourful the fireworks were on the night! Now, were these your photos or Paddy's :wink:

That stitching almost looks sparkly too amidst the fireworks! No big fireworks back in Yorkshire in the early 70s for the Guy but that was a lifetime ago! Loved the bonfires though.

Stunning, Selena! Definitely the black background the photos bounce off the page!
We went to the Guy's fireworks in Lewes one year. I was terrified... Narrow streets, wooden buildings and everyone was setting off fireworks. Couldn't get to a pub fast enough ;)
