Journaling: Weighing in on Numbers...Are numbers synonymous with words? A form of communication we have created to convey thoughts, feelings and assign value? When we weigh experiences based on a number scale, why dont we just use words? Wouldnt that be a more direct form of communicating? The question I hate the most is when a doctor asks me to rate my pain on a scale of one to ten. If I wasnt in a lot of pain I would have stayed home and taken two advil.

this made me smile, Chris. i get the doctor thing. (you must go to a rheumatologist. me, too, and that's a familiar question....) this is a gorgeous design. your pictures always have a kind of "glow" about them!
