My journaling reads:
Ive loved Halloween for as long as I can remember; and whilst its never been a really big event here in the UK, its popularity is definitely on the rise. For me, the passion has always been there. I remember when at school, I used to make own costumes for the BIG party we had every year. Painting bones on my black leggings & t-shirt one year, sewing pom-poms on to pink pyjamas for a Pierrot outfit the next, painting my face ashen white and using eyeliner to create the distinctive Draculas peak hairline during my final year. Sadly, its been many years since I played dress-up, but when 31st October comes round each year, I feel a sudden urge to dig out my broomstick, don my witches hat and cackle out a spell or two, regardless of my age!
